Hi, I'm Samantha, a BSc Animal Biology and Conservation graduate and the person behind Wag & Wander. Dogs have been a part of my whole life, including our own rescue dog who joined our family in 2018 and stole our hearts completely.
Since then I've volunteered for years at the same rescue centre, gaining hands-on experience handling all kinds of temperaments and building a real understanding of dog behaviour. After finishing university in 2026, I knew I wanted to turn that passion into something meaningful — so Wag & Wander was born.
Every dog I walk or sit for gets the same care and attention I'd give my own. Fully insured and genuinely passionate about what I do.
Every new client gets a free meet & greet!
Before any walks or visits begin, I always arrange a relaxed, no-obligation meet and greet. It's a chance for me to learn about your dog's behaviour, personality, and physical needs — as well as get to know you as a client. Your dog can get comfortable with me in a familiar setting, and you can ask any questions. It's an important first step I require for every new client.

Samantha has been walking our new rescue dog for the last few weeks. She has been fabulous at helping him get used to the world which is full of new sights and sounds. He is quite nervous and she has been helping him build up his confidence around new things including other dogs, and working on training him when out and about. This has been so helpful and he really enjoys his walks with her and clearly absolutely loves her. She has been reliable, calm and kind to him throughout her time walking him.
